Jack Lewis Blair, PhD, who was born 7 Jan 1931 in Abernathy, Hale, TX, is the second son and child born to Henry Clifford "Cliff" and Elda Lee "Eldie" (Nelson) Blair. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Math/English/French in 1953 from Hardin-Simmons Univeristy, Abilene, TX; Master of Education in 1956 from The University of Houston (TX); and a Doctor of Philosophy in 1967 from East Texas State Univeristy (now Texas A & M University, Commerce). In 1957 he married Genevieve Laurence, PhD and they are the parents of a daughter, Jana, and two sons John and Jason; and a have grandson, Beau Becthold. Jack has taught First Grade through Twelfth Grade Mathematics in the public schools of Texas, and at the college and university levels.
