Charles Samuel "Charlie" Blair was born 21 Nov 1886 in Talbot County, GA to William Samuel and Willie Anna (Gilmore) Blair. He was the second child and first son. He relocated to Van Zandt County, Texas with his parents and other siblings in 1900. He returned to Georgia to reclaim his childhood sweetheart, Dovie Lee Tucker, as his bide. Dovie Lee died in 1907 in Van Zandt County. Charlie later married Minnie Dennel Peel and they continued to live in Van Zandt Co. After Minnie died Charlie stayed in the County but later married Nora Ethel (Vineyard) Wilson and moved to Abernathy, Hale County, Texas. Charlie was always a farmer and hard worker and one of the most kind people.
