Willie Anna (Gilmore) Blair was born 18 Apr 1864 in Talbot County, GA to James Heard and Martha Camilla (Cartwright) Gilmore. The youngest child of the Gilmore family met her future husband William Samuel Blair whom she wed 14 Feb 1883. The Blair family lived in Talbot County for a number of years and later moved to Harris County. In 1900 the Blair family moved to Van Zandt County, TX, where Willie Anna bore two more children.
