Pilot Point-Raymond G. Sparks, 83, a resident of Pilot Point since 1941, died Friday in Denton Osteopathic Hospital. Born October 11, 1900 in Denton County to Mr. & Mrs. Robert Thomas Sparks. He married Eunice Christina Blagg, December 6, 1925 in Denton. He was a retired farmer and member of Calvary Baptist Church. Service will be Monday at 2pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Pilot Point with the Rev. Luther Slay officiating, assisted by Doug Munton. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton under direction of Huff Funeral Home of Pilot Point. Survivors include his wife, Joe W. Sparks of Pilot Point, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8 for visitation. Denton Record Chronicle, May 20, 1984
