Mrs. Fred (Belle) Dredge, 79, of 1067 E Losey Street, died Friday, 31 Mar 1972, at 1:55 pm at Cottage Hospital. She was born in Orange Township, Knox County, 25 Dec 1892, the daughter of Addison and Emily (Peterson) Means. She married Fred Dredge on 25 Dec 1910 in Galesburg. She was a member of Knoxville Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Dale of Maquon; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and three sisters: Mrs. Viola Frew, Godfrey, and Mrs. Pansye Straub and Mrs. Alta Edwardson, both of Galesburg.
Funeral was 3 Apr 1972 at Martin Funeral Home, Knoxville, with Rev. Clifford Parke, pastor of Knoxville Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Knoxville Cemetery.

Noteworthy: Aunt Belle was born on Christmas day, and died on Good Friday.
