Knoxville--Mrs. Frances M (Means) Wadham, 55, of Gilson, a native of Knox County, died at 5:10 am at Galesburg Cottage Hospital on Monday, Aug. 16, 1954. She had been a patient for five days, and had been ill for several years.
She was born 11 Sept 1898, the daughter of Addison and Emily (Peterson) Means, and was married 1 Apr 1916 in Knoxville to William E Wadham, who survives with four sisters: Mrs. Harry Frew, Knoxville, Mrs. Fred Dredge, Mrs. Clarence Straub, and Mrs. Axel E Edwardson, all of Galesburg.
Funeral services were conducted at Klinck Chapel in Knoxville by Rev. Adrian McKay, pastor of Knoxville Christian Church, of which Mrs. Wadham was a member. Burial was in Knoxville Cemetery.
