Mrs. Clark was born July 24, 1863 at South Prairie, now known as the town of Gibbs. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Moore. She later moved with her parents to a farm north of Brashear and had lived the remainder of her life in or near Brashear. She was married to J. Robert Clark on April 8, 1883. To this union, seven children were born, two dying in infancy. The surviving children are Mrs. Josie Bear of Crawford, Colo., Mrs. Iris Ludden, Mrs. Coral Hunt and Mrs. Gladys Sees, all of Brashear and Lloyd Clark who is practicing dentistry in Kansas City. She also leaves thirteen grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death 28 years ago on Thanksgiving Day. She leaves the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Morna Crossgrove, Mrs. Floy Mauck and F.R. Moore of Brashear, Mrs. Sylvia Anderson, Colorado Springs, Mrs. May Derfler, St. Louis, Earl Moore, Bayview, Idaho, Dr. J.C. Moore of Hoopeston, Ill., and Mrs. Merle Funk of Hurdland.
Mrs. Clark united with te M.E. Church South when a young woman and was active in church as long as the denomination had a place of worship in Brashear. She was deprived of her help mate while young and devoted her life to the aid of others. She was recognized as a dependable help in sickness or disease.
The funeral will be held from the U.B. Church in Brashear Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. McGlashing, assisted by Rev. E.A. Israel.
Burial will be in the Brashear Cemetery.
