Mrs. John D. (Gladys Fay) Adams, 61, of Rt. 1, died Nov. 4, 1970, in Stillwater Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hillcrest Baptist Church, and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, under direction of Strode Funeral Home.
Officiating at the service will be Rev. Gary Cook of Hillcrest Baptist, and Rev. Harry Boydstun, Sunnyside Baptist Church, Oklahoma City.
She was born near Alfalfa, April 16, 1909, the daughter of William Alford and Leona May Bennett. She married Mr. Adams near Alfalfa, Aug. 5, 1934.
After their marriage the couple lived near Frederick, moving to Arkansas and to Stillwater in 1945.
She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church and was employed at Oklahoma State University in the Girls Physical Education department since 1945.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; her father, of Alfalfa; two sons, Lowell Adams, Ogden, Utah and Norman Adams, St. Louis, Mo., and a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Tate, Tahlequah.
Nine grandchildren, eight brothers and two sisters also survive.
