Funeral services for Leo Wilburn Bennett, a former Minco resident, were held Tuesday at Alfalfa Baptist Church with burial in the Alfalfa Cemetery. Services were under direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
Mr. Bennett died Sunday in Chickasha.
He was born July 13, 1915 in Alfalfa. He moved to Minco in 1953. He was a farmer and custom wheat harvester and had worked for Leo T. Lion Trucking and Garden City Mobile Homes in Garden City, Kan. He had also operated a car dealership and gas station. He served on the
Minco School Board and was a member of Alfalfa Baptist Church and Minco First Baptist Church.
He is survived by daughters, Earlene Vickrey, Maxine Taylor and Janell Minor; a son, L.W. Bennett; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
