Resident of Utica for Past 25 Years Succumbs Early Today.
Utica, Dec. 4 – Mrs. Martha Jones, 81, died at her home today following a four month illness of a liver ailment. She had been a resident of Utica for 25 years, having moved here from near Martinsburg. She was the daughter of John Rine. Her husband, Frank Jones, died 22 years ago. The deceased was a member of the Martinsburg Methodist church for many years. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Lula McCament, who made her home with Mrs. Jones for many years; another niece, Mrs. Ethel McMillen, and three nephews, Ray Clutter, Alph Clutter, and Guy Clutter. Funeral services will be held at the home in North Street Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be made in the Methodist cemetery at Martinsburg.
