Worth Bass, 65, of Rt. 5, Lumberton, died Friday at Southeastern General Hospital. The funeral is today at 4 p.m. at the Prevatte Funeral Home in Fairmont, the Rev. Wayne Wike officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Kemp Bass: two daughters, Mrs. Brenda B. Hodge and Mrs. Jenny Lee Ward, both of Lumberton: two step-daughters, Ms. Carol Bean of Fairmont and Ms. Mary Ann Bean of the home: a son, James Bass of Fairmont: four step-sons James Bean of Lumberton, George Bean of Tampa, Fla. , John Bean of West Germany, and Roberts Bean of the home: two sisters, Mrs. Hubert Prevatte of Fairmont and Geneva Christenburg of Hamer, S.C.: six grandchildren and a step-grandchild.
