Glenore Moss, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Chruch in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Craig Albrecht officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.
Friends may call at the Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today and Friday and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday. There will be a moose service at 7 p.m. today and a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the "wishes of the family. ' Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Glenore was born Jan. 7, 1908 in Detroit , the daughter of Edward and Mary Agnes (Gleason) Ball. She married Kenneth Moss. She was employed as a nurse's aide for many years at Central Michigan Community Hospital and she was very active in the events at Riverwood Apartments, where she resided.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, and the women of the moose chapter 338.
She is survived by her five children, George (Jean) Moss of Mt. Pleasant, John E. (Delores) Moss of Mt. Pleasant, Kenna Jean (Ronald) Buzzell of Gladwin, Nancy Hovey of Mt. Pleasant and Mary (Denver) A. Harless of Holt; 21 grandchildren; 32 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Virgiline VanOmmeran of Mt. Pleasant and Lina Ruth Teeter of Clare; and a sister-in-law, Louise Ball of Mt. Pleasant.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth Moss; a grandson, Thomas Hovey; a greatgrandson, Colan Hovey; three brothers, Richard Ball, Thomas Ball and Edward Ball; and two sisters, Marvel Mahoney and Ismarie Galgoczi.

Note: Correction on place of birth in the obituary should read, she was born at the Ball farm on Whiteville Rd. in Mt. Pleasant, MI with her grandmother assisting as midwife (as noted by Kathleen Moss, a living descendent and genealogist).
