Lina, 89 of Clare, passed away peacefully with family present on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant. Lina was the youngest of 8 children born to the late Edward and Agnes (Gleason) Ball.

She was united in marriage to Harley L. Teeter on September 17, 1955 at the Sacred Heart Parish in Mt. Pleasant; with Harley predeceasing her on March 4, 1975.

Lina was a lifelong resident of the Mt. Pleasant and Clare area; she was a faithful member of Our Lady of Hope Parish – St. Cecilia Site, helping with Funeral Dinners for over 40 years. She had worked in the kitchen at the Clare Public Schools for 9 years before working in food service at CMU where she retired after 7 years.

Lina enjoyed the challenge of Crossword Puzzles, the socialization with her breakfast club at the Clare McDonalds, but most of all her family was important to her.

Lina is survived by her 7 children, Cheryl Fredericksen and George Teeter both of Clare, Mary (Jim) Averill of Kingston, Robert Teeter and William (Wendy) Teeter both of Clare, Linda (Jeffrey) Reser of Ashley and Brenda (Dean) Tomlinson of Caro; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with 2 on the way.

Lina was predeceased by her daughter Ruth A. Teeter, a granddaughter Elizabeth Fredericksen, 7 siblings and dear friend Carl Remer.

Services were at Our Lady of Hope Parish- St. Cecilia Site with Rev. Peter Nwokoye officiating. Burial followed in the St. Cecilia Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice House.
