Kenneth Moss
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 2. at 2 o'clock at the Stinson Funeral Home for Kenneth Moss of Union Township who died at the Saginaw TB Sanitarium, December 30, after an illness of several years.
Mr. Moss was born February 15, 1904, in Isabella county, and had been a resident of Mt. Pleasant all his life. He was occupied in farming and was formerly employed as a radio serviceman at Brien's.
Burial was made at Riverside cemetery with Rev. C. A. Bormann officiating.
Surviving are his wife, Glenora, his mother, Mrs. Mable (as written; should say Noble) Moss; and five children; George, Edward, Kenna Jean, Nancy Ann and Mary Agnes.

This community was saddened Sunday morning by the death of Kenneth Moss.
Mrs. McLachlan and Ray and Fernando Jenner called on the Moss family Friday. Mrs. Carrie Moss is ill with a cold. Mrs. Kenneth Moss spent one day the past week with relatives near Saginaw. Her parents accompanied her there. Mrs. Carrie Moss recently called on her sister, Mrs. George Hoop who is making her home with the Whitehead sisters, Ardella and Gretchen.
Thomas Ball called on his sister, Mrs. Kenneth Moss and family one day the past week. He has recently returned home from service where he was serving with the Sea Bee's.
Those calling Sunday on the Moss family were; Edward Ball, Mrs. Wesley Merrill, Mrs. Clifford Willis, Mrs. M. H. Peterson, Mrs. George Showalter and Mrs. Walter Klumpp.

An excerpt from her publication. . .
On September 7, 1896 Noble N. Moss (1869 - 1910), farmer purchased fourty acres in Section 31, Union Township from two Hardware Merchants from Ontario, Canada. He cleared the land and in 1904 with neighbors helping, built a barn and house out of the lumber from the trees. He was married to Carrie Amelia Whitehead (1869 - 1959). They had two children Kenneth F. (1904 - 1945) and Nellie E. (1906 - 1927). Noble died in 1910 of meningitis, Nellie died in 1927 of tuberculosis. She never married.

Kenneth married Anna Glenore Ball, daughter of Edward and Agnes (Gleason) Ball. Kenneth farmed and worked for Brian Little repairing radios. There were five children from this marriage - George F., Edward, Kenna Jean, Nancy, and Mary Agnes. Kenneth died in 1945 at the age of forty-one. He had been in ill health for some time.
