Margaret (nee Best) Ross, wife of Alexander Ross and mother of all his children. Daughter of John Michael Best and his wife, Frances "Fanny" Costner. Birth and death dates were obtained from the Ross Family Bible.

Recent information found at http://fulp.phelpsancestry.com/getperson.php?personID=I61957&tree=TAP on 01/26/2015, leads me to revise my previous opinion that Margaret and Alexander moved to Kansas before 1895, where I believed Margaret died in Crawford County KS in 1894. Based on information from Mary Lou (Ross) Onelio of Girard, Crawford County, KS, received from James Norman Ross of Evansville, Indiana, Margaret died in Henderson County Kentucky and is buried in an unmarked grave.
