ELMER REYNOLDS

Elmer Richard Reynolds, son of Malcolm and Emma Reynolds, was born March 28, 1885 and passed away at the Lucas County Memorial hospital February 7, 1965, at the age of 79 years, ten months and ten days.

He was born in raised in Lucas county and was engaged in farming the major portion of his life. On August 15, 1906 he was united in marriage to Miss Amy Dyer, and to this union two children were born.

Early in life he accepted Christ as his Saviour and was a faithful attendant of the Assembly of God church in Chariton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He leaves to mourn his passing one son, Marvin Reynolds and one daughter, Mrs. Lois Curtis, a daughter-in-law, Glenna Reynolds, a son-in-law, Cyril Curtis, one grandson, Ivan Reynolds and wife, Colene, and two great-grandchildren, all of Chariton, three brothers, Perry of Osceola, Tom and Bert of Russell, a number of other relatives and a host of friends.

He was a faithful and true husband, a kind and considerate father, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
