Clara Garrett Eggleston, 93, of 72 Irisburg Road, Axton, died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Beverly Health Care.
She was born in Henry County, on Sept. 28, 1913, to James Sam Garrett and Rosa Hundley Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Posey Eggleston; a sister, Madeline Steagall; and three brothers, Clyde Garrett, Leonard Garrett and Herman Garrett.
She was a member of Beckham Untied Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruby Garrett and Pearl Harris, both of Axton.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at McKee-Stone Funeral Services chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour before the service.
