COLFAX. —(PNS)— Mrs. Emma Anliker Lanz, 76, died suddenly at 9:40 p. m. Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Louis Brandt, in Colfax. Mr. and Mrs. Lanz were living with the Brandts.

The body was taken to the Easton Funeral home in Colfax and will be taken to Royal Center, Ind., where services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, at the United Brethren church. Burial will be in the Indian Creek cemetery there.

She was born Feb. 15, 1873, in Gondiswyl Ct Bern, Switzerland, daughter of John and Maria Gradel Anliker. She was married to Andrew Lanz March 13, 1892.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Mrs. Louis Brandt, Colfax; John Lanz, Sibley; William Lanz, West Chicago; Walter Lanz, Star City, Ind., Edwin Lanz, Brookfield; Mrs. Charles Roby, LeRoy; Mrs. Glen Mayhugh, Claypool, Ind.; Mrs. John Tieman, Winamac, Ind.; Mrs. Clarence Calhoun, Alton; Mrs. Richard Crow, St. Joe, Ind.; also surviving are 20 grandchildren: eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Hans Anliker, Sibley, and a sister, Mrs. Ernest Zingg, Walker, Mo.

Two children preceded her in death.

She was a member of the United Brethren church of Royall Center, Ind.

Mr. and Mrs. Lanz lived on a farm near Sibley for 22 years.
