Sarah G. "Glennie" Sheaffer Mansfield, 88, of Altoona, formerly of Bethel Twp., died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000 in Beverly Healthcare-Hillview, Altoona.

She was born Sept. 19, 1912, in Plumcreek Twp.

Mrs. Mansfield was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Bethel Twp.
Survivors include two daughters, Sernice J. Keller, Ohio and Mrs. Dale (Donna) Sheasley, Tipton; four grandsons; four great grandchildren; one step great grandson; two brothers, Duane Sheaffer, Vandergrift and Donald Sheaffer, Leechburg; and a sister, Luella Patterson, Vandergrift.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Mansfield in 1981; her parents, Henry Elder and Ida l. Boyer Sheaffer; three brothers, Lisle, William and Edward Sheaffer; and four sisters, Virginia Christy, Mabel Lukehart, Pearl Beck and Esther Glass.
