Mabel R. lukehart, 68, Kittanning Township, died yesterday (Jan. 26, 1986) at 10 a.m. in her residence.
She was born Dec. 22, 1917, in South Bend Township, to Henry and Ida Boyer Sheaffer.
she was a member of Cochran Mills United Methodist Church, Burrell Township.
Mrs. Lukehart formerly was employed for 10 years by Awnings by shuster in Oklahoma Borough.
She is survived by a son, Gary of Burrell Township; two daughters, Mrs. Sonja Mitchell of Kittanning Township, and Mrs. Ronald (Ida Mae) Ross of Parks; two brothers, Donald Sheaffer of Parks and Duane "Bud" Sheaffer of Bethel; three sisters, Mrs. Glenna Vee Mansfield of Bethel, and Mrs. Pearl Beck and Mrs. Robert (Luella) Patterson, both of Parks; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Wendell a. Welch Funeral Home, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where a service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Church Presbyterian Cemetery, Kiski Township.
