Dorothy M. Whalen, 97, of Louisville, died Wednesday at Meadows East Nursing Home. She was the former Dorothy Mueninghoff, a retired office manager for American Life Insurance Company and a member of SS. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at her church, 4335 Hazelwood Ave. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, family-owned, 7330 Southside Dr.
