EMMA C. SOEDER, 87, died Tuesday at her home. She was the former Emma C. Hoffmann and a member of St. George Catholic Church and Catholic Golden Age Society Chapter 2. Survivors: sons, Frank A., William P., Robert E. and Edward C. Soeder; daughters, Mary Catherine Howard and Dorothy A. Chinn; sisters, Marie Degener and Theresa Bellner; a brother, Albert Hoffman; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1410 Dixie Highway. Burial: St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation J. B. Ratterman's-Portland, 2114 W. Market St., 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Louisville or Little Sisters of the Poor.
