COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 03/08/1969
George C. Hoffmann, of 1304 Helck collapsed and died shortly before noon Friday while working on a construction site in Douglas Hills subdivision about a half mile west of Middletown. Deputy Coroner Barry Foreman said Hoffmann died of a heart attack. Hoffmann was a plumber for the Edwin C. Jackson Plumbing Co., and was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edith Hoffmann; a son, Donald C. Hoffmann; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. The body will be at Neurath Funeral Home, 725 E. Market, after 2 p.m. Saturday.
