MARY CATHERINE HOWARD (SOEDER) Louisville - 82, entered into Heaven on Friday, July 23, 2021. She was an avid Bingo player, reader, puzzle solver and lover of animals. Mary was a devout Roman Catholic and a longtime member of St. Peter the Apostle Church and its predecessor, Saint Clements. She particularly enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Emma (Hoffman) Soeder; husband, Billy L. Howard; brothers, Frank, William "Bill", and Edward Soeder; and sister, Dorothy Chinn. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Daniel (Charlotte), Theresa and Bruce Howard; grandchildren, Sean Howard (Ann) and Tiffany Ward (Stephan); great-grandchildren, Austin Howard, Jacob "Jake" Wilson, Sarah Howard, Charlotte "Charlee" Howard, Eli Ward and Quentin "Quen" Pruett; brother, Robert "Bob" Soeder (Patricia) and sister-in-law, Therese Soeder; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her celebration of life Mass will be held Thursday 10 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 5431 Johnsontown Rd. with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ratterman Southwest Funeral Home, 4832 Cane Run Rd.
