Services for Rev. Willie D. Allen, 90, retired Methodist minister were held from Salem Methodist Church. Rev. W.D. Allen came to Texas in 1894. He moved to Young County, Texas in 1908 and farmed in the Jean Community until 1943 when he retired and moved to Graham from Jean, Texas. A local Methodist minister, he preached in many of the school houses in the county. He is a member of the Salem Methodist Church and teaches the elderly people's class. He spends his time making a little garden, mowing the yard, reading and watching television. Since 1961, he has lived with his daughter, Mrs. Dollie Swaim at 1204 Texas Street. Survived by one daughter - Dollie Swaim; two sons - Dalton Allen and Kirk Allen; one brother - James Allen, three sisters - Mrs. Sallie Williams, Mrs. Fronie Revell; Mrs. Ola Ellison; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
