Willie Donnie Allen married Lillie Kirkpatrick on 19 May 1910 at Hill County, Texas. The couple moved to Graham in 1943 from the Jean Community.

Services for Mrs. W.D. Allen, 74, were held at Salem Methodist Church. Mrs. Allen moved to Young County in 1908 from Taylor County, Texas, settling in the Jean Community. Mrs. Allen was a longtime member of the Methodist Church, she served in various church departments. She was a member of Salem Methodist Church.

Survived by her husband; one daughter - Mrs. Dollie Swaim; four sons - H.J. Allen, D.L. Allen, D.K. Allen, Osa Allen; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother - A.J. Kirkpatrick; one half-brother - L.A. "Short" Markum; one half-sister - Mrs. A.W. Gray.
