Miss Lillie Mae Allen of Jean, Texas was married 23 December 1939 to Raymond A. Hill of Fresno, California at the Methodist Church parsonage in Olney, Texas officiated by Dr. Culver, the pastor. The couple was attended by the bride's brothers and sister-in-law, Dalton Allen of Olney and Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Allen of Alpine, Texas.

Mrs. Hill is the youngest daughter of Rev. and Mrs. W.D. Allen of Jean, Texas. She attended Graham High School. Since June of 1937, she has lived in Dinuba, California where she has been employed. After a short honeymoon, the couple will be at home at Iowa Park, Texas where they will be in the cafe business.

Services for Mrs. Raymond Hill were held at Salem Methodist Church in Graham, Texas officiated by Rev. Richard Hunt, pastor of the Loving - Jean Methodist Church, and Rev. W.J. Shelton, pastor of Olney Methodist Church. Mrs. Hill had been visiting with her parents, Rev. and Mrs. W.D. Allen. Mrs. Hill was raised ner Jean, Texas until 1938 when she moved to California. Mrs. Hill became a member of the Methodist Church in early childhood and was a member of the Methodist Church at Fresno, California. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Survived by her husband; one daughter - Paula Rae Hill; her parents; four brothers - Homer Allen, Kirk Alln, Osa Allen; one sister - Mrs. Ray Swaim.
