Mr. Allen attended school at Jean, Texas and entered the US Navy in 1942. Mr. Allen trained in San Diego, California. He served in Australia, Philippines, Solomon Islands and New Guinea. Mr. Allen was awarded the American Theater, APO, Philippines Liberation medal and GCM.

Mr. Allen moved to Graham, Texas following the war.

Survived by his father, one sister - Mrs. Dollie Swaim, three brothers - H.J. Allen, D.L. Allen, Kirk Allen.
