COLORADO CITY ~~ Reverend C.C. "Buck" Dorn, 58, a Mitchell County native, died Wednesday morning at his home in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Dorn United Methodist Church southwest of Colorado City. Burial will be in the Dorn Cemetery under direction of Kiker-Rains-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born July 6, 1912 in Mitchell County. He married Erlene McCullough in Mitchell County.

He served the First United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa, New Mexico.

Survivors include his wife of Santa Rosa; his mother, Mrs. M.P. Dorn of Colorado City; one son, Johnny of Plainview; five daughters, Mrs. Eugene Woods of Colorado City, Mrs. Leonard Hill of Odessa, Mrs. Wendell Leach of Vernon, Mrs. Curt Shaw of Colorado City, and Mrs. Jesse Hodge of Plainview; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Bell of Colorado City, Mrs. James Jarratt of Westbrook, and Mrs. Jabe Whirley of O'Donnell; two brothers, James of Colorado City and Pierce, Jr. of Coahoma; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
