Mrs. H.R. McCoy Dead
Mrs. H.R. McCoy died of consumption at her home near Utopia Monday morning after a lingering illness. Funeral services were conducted from the home Tuesday afternoon by Rev. C.H. Gerkin of Hamilton. Interment was in Greenwwood cemetery.
Melvina Chastain was born in Dallas County, Missouri, 37 years ago. She was united in marriaged to H.R. McCoy. To this union seven children were born who with the father survive her. The famiy have lived near Utopia for eight years, their home being on the I.T. Garrison farm. Mrs. McCoy is also survived by her father, mother, three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. E.A. Junkins of Eureka is a sister of the deceased.
