MRS. A. G. HALL DIES AT HOME NEAR NEW HAVEN - MRS ESTELLA LEE HALL, 60, wife of Alvah G. Hall, well known farmer and lumberman, died unexpectedly at her home near New Haven at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, February 18. She had been ill for several months. Mrs. Hall was born and reared in the New Haven community. She was the mother of 14 children, 13 of whom survive. Surviving besides her husband, are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Archie (Pauline) Clark, Mrs. Joan Hornback, Miss Martha Hall, all of New Haven; Mrs. James (Theresa) Browning and Mrs. Clifford (Regina) Stewart, both of Louisville; Misses Betty and Joyce Hall, and sons, Marvin, Lawrence, David, Raphael and Larry Hall, all of New Haven; and Louis Hall, Bardstown; three sisters, Mrs. Tony Newton, Mrs. Edna Rust, New Haven, with Mrs. Wardlow Slack, Louisville; four brothers, Walter and Luke Seward, Louisville; Ivo and Pat Seward, New Haven; 18 grandchildren. Funeral services were held from the residence and at St. Catherine Church, New Haven, Monday at 8:30 a.m., Rev. Fred J. Gettelfinger, pastor, celebrant of the Solemn High Mass. Rev. Lawrence Hardesty was deacon and Rev. George O'Bryan, sub-deacon. Gene Hornback, grandson of the deceased, was master of ceremonies. Interment was in the church cemetery.
