Of Death of Uncle
Mrs Adam Strohacker, 1003 Lynn Street, has received word of the death of her uncle, Jacob Thresh, which occurred Sunday at 6:30 am, at the Zane Rest Home in Zanesville. He was 85. The funeral cortege will leave the home of his nephew, George Trottman, 933 Market Street in Zanesviille at 1 pm, Tuesday and services will be held at 2 pm in the Zion Lutheran Church at Adamsville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Jacob Thresh 85, of Monroe Township, Muskingum County will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr Thresh died Sunday morning at the Zane Rest Home where he had been a patient for 14 months. He was born and spent his life in the same farm homestead. A life member of the Zion Lutheran Church, he was a retired farmer. His wife died 15 February, 1941. She was the former Sarah Riney. Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. The body will be taken today from the Shirer and Son Funeral Home, Adamsville to the residence of George Trottman 933 Market Street.
