Last Wednesday morning George Thresh, who lived on the Hindel farm, one mile north of Inwood, left home to help his brother John harvest in the neighborhood of Johnson's Corners in Bourbon Township. At noon he was fatally hurt by the kick of a horse. He lingered with intense suffering until Sunday night when he died. Mr Thresh came to this neighborhood several years ago from Muskingum County, Ohio, and followed the occupation of farming. His Strickley temperate habits his industry and gentlemanly deportment won him the esteem of all who became acquainted with him, and his untimely death causes deep sorrow among his many friends. He was Thirty odd years old and leaves a wife and little son, who in their sore bereavement have the sympathies of the community. The funeral services are being held today in the Lutheran Church in Bourbon township. The remains will be taken to Oak Hill Cemetery for burial.
