Funeral rites for Harold Winterton, 27, cattleman and bishop of Woodland ward, Summit county, who was killed when a truck he was driving was struck Wednesday noon in Springville by a Denver Rio Grande Western railroad freight train, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Wasatch tabernacle at Heber. Interment will be in the Charleston City cemetery.

Harold Winterton was a prominent young man of Wasatch county. His family are breeders of blooded Hereford cattle, which had been exhibited in California, Denver and western states.
He was born in Charleston, July 16, 1903, a son of Hyrum and Sarah Van Wagoner Winterton.
Mr. Winterton is survived by his widow, Mrs. Susie Duke Winterton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Duke of Salt Lake; a son and two daughters, Norman, 6; Margaret, 3, and a 3-week-old daughter; also nine brothers and sisters; Mrs. Grace Simmons, Van, Deloy, Luella, Omni, Claire, Ruth, Eva and Stella Winterton, all of Woodland.
