Harold passed away peacefully on February 9, 2016.

Born to Harold Vernon Winterton and Susie May Duke on March 11, 1931 in Woodland.

He served two years in the U.S. Army and then served a two ½ year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the Netherlands.

He married Laura Marie Christiansen on September 25, 1958 in the Logan Temple.

He held many positions in his church.

He is survived by his wife, Laura; eleven children, Warren (Colleen), Steve (Sheryl), Dennis (Holli), Ronald, Craig (LynnAnn), Ellen, Larry (Kim), Jerry (Tena), Sandra Eisert (Nathan), Phillip (Laurie), and Carolyn Watkins (Dennis); forty-six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and younger siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, older siblings, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Granger Stake Center, 2850 West 3835 South, where viewings will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
