He was a native of Garrett county, Kentucky and came to Macon county in 1853. He has lived here ever since with the exception of four years he resided in Christian county.
He leaves a widow and ten children. They are Hugh, Lafayette, Mrs.Martha Leach and Mrs. Michael Eichinger of Decatur, James of Long Creek, Rice of Colorado, Doc of Piatt county, Willie and Miss Mary Logan.
The funeral will take place today at the Logan farm and burial will be in the Salem graveyard.
