Mary Wilma Bryant Ford was born on Friday, May 29, 1925 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Raymond Samuel and Mary Bell McGeath Bryant and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 87.
Mary married Charles Franklin Ford Jr. on August 7, 1943 in Durant and they were married for 59 years until Charles passed away on July 20, 2002. Mary was active in many things but her greatest achievement was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. In her early years she was a member of the Cobb Homemakers Association and she was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ in Durant. She enjoyed baking, quilting and crocheting and she will be dearly missed.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son; two infant daughters; brothers Floyd,Loyd, Troy and Rubin Bryant and grandson Kory Jon Ford.
Mary is survived by her children; Donna Bugg and husband Jack of Scroggins, Texas and son Rubin Dale Ford of Bokchito,Oklahoma; sister Ruby Pearl Bush of Durant, Okla;
brother WJ "Dub" Bryant of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Darla Box and husband Ryan, Andrew Bugg and wife Leigh Ann, Karen Ford, Kenya Ford, Tamara Ford, Tobie Ford and wife Lila, Kaden Ford and Kasey Ford; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel.
Rev. Chuck Barrineau will officiate.
Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery with Tony Bryant, Roy Bryant, Nathan Bryant, Lewis Bryant, Larry Bush and Troy Phillips serving as pallbearers.
