A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM. Saturday in Highland Cemetery for Floyd O. Bryant, 85 of Durant, who died Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at the medical center of southeastern Oklahoma, in Durant. The Rev. Fred Waltrip will officiate.
Bryant was born August 28, 1918 in Morrilton, Ark.,to Ray S.
Bryant and Mary McGeath, and came to Oklahoma in 1934. He attended and graduated school in McLish and later retired from being self-employed. Bryant married Willie Erlene Wilkerson December 18, 1939 in Durant, Oklahoma. And later married Elmina Newendorf August 27, 1991. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed playing dominoes and visiting with family and friends. Bryant will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents; both wives; and three brothers.
