W.J. "Dub" Bryant a resident of Durant, Oklahoma and beloved family member passed from this life in Plano, Texas on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the age of 78. He was born in Fittstown, Oklahoma on July 8, 1936 to Ray and Mary Bell (McGeath) Bryant.

Dub provided maintenance for the Bryan County Court house for 10 years and for the Bryant Construction for over 30 years. He loved to drink coffee while having a good converstaion with his friends. Dub enjoyed hunting with his son Nathan, and other friends. He could often be found reading his bible, playing dominoes or watching The Bold and the Beautiful on television. Dub loved his family and looked forward to the time they spent together.

Mr. Bryant is survived by his sons, Lewis Bryant and wife Teresa of Antlers, Oklahoma, Paul Bryant of Durant, Oklahoma and Nathan Bryant and wife Melissa of Mead, Oklahoma; daughters, Charlotte Franks of Durant, Oklahoma, Paula Neely of Kingston, Oklahoma and Pamela Pollani of Mead, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Bush of Durant, Oklahoma; special friends, Billy and Betty Tynes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Bell Bryant; brothers, Floyd, Loyd, Troy and Rubin Bryant; sister, Wilma Ford.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00~7:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2015 at the Holmes ~ Coffey ~ Murray Funeral Home in Durant. A church service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the 7th and Beech Church of Christ in Durant with Bro. John Curtis officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Bryant, Chris Bryant, Philip Franks, Justin Franks, Chase Bryant, Bo Joines, Logan Joines, Dillon Pollani, Conner Pollani and Dallas Neely.
