Dorothy E. (Adams) Clever, 77, of Greenbrier, Tenn., formerly of the Kittanning area, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003 in Alive Hospice, Nashville Tenn. She was born Dec. 9, 1925 in Mosgrove to Robert Henry and Isabelle (Curtis) Adams. Mrs. Clever was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Union Bible Church, West Valley. Her other memberships included the Stitching Neighbors. She also attended the Rural Valley and Dayton Senior Centers. Survivors include two sons, Joseph B. Clever Jr. of Kittanning and Lindsey R. Clever of Dayton; four daughters, Mrs. James (Carolyn I.) Wadding of Home, Mrs. Kenneth (Joan I.) Wolff of Templeton, Mrs. John (Isabel L.) Stile of Indiana and Mrs. Thomas (Rhodo) Mikita of Greenbrier, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, James Adams of Windber and Charles Adams of Kittanning; and two sisters, Mertie Ramsey of Chicora and Lucille Ellsworth of Pittsburgh. She was preceded in Death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Clever; who died Dec. 31, 2000; two brothers, Arthur Adams and Robert Adams and four sisters, Jennie Adams, Mary Woods, Margaret Carrick and Betty Adams. CLEVER – Friends of Dorothy E. (Adams) Clever, 77, of Greenbrier, Tenn., formerly of the Kittanning area, who died Sept. 17, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 Main St., Rural Valley. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home at noon Monday until funeral services at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Kal Henry officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Valley Township. The family requests memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice, 1710 Patterson St., Nashville, Tenn. 37203 Arrangements by Carson/Boyer.
