Charles F. Adams Sr., 82, of Brookville, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, in Brookville Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1931, in Templeton, son of the late Robert H. and Isabelle Mae (Curtis) Adams. He was retired from Pullman Standard in Butler. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He attended Whitesburg Methodist Church and Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Corsica. He enjoyed playing bingo and his guitar along with woodworking. Survivors include his daughter, Genny (Brian) Kerr, of Brookville; son, Charles (Cathy) Adams Jr., of Kittanning; daughter, Darlene (Mark) Courier, of Sigel; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille Wilson, of Pittsburgh. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Erma (Wingard) Adams, in 2011; brothers, Art, Red and Bob Adams; and sisters, Jenny, Betty, Dorothy, Peg, Mertie and Mary. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning. Addition visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Dietrich officiating. Interment will be in Cochran Cemetery
