Funeral services for Allie Frances Howard, 92, of Malakoff, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leagueville Baptist Church. Burial was at the Leagueville Cemetery.
Mrs. Howard died at the Cedar Creek Nursing Home Friday morning. She was born Nov. 19, 1903 to Price and Mary Adair. Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and lived in the Leagueville area for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Howard and a son, Nolan Howard.
Survivors include one daughter, Hazel Barnett Wills of Malakoff; a daughter-in-law, Betty Howard of Athens; a sister, Vera Gideon of Palmer; six grandchildren, Thomas Howard of Longview, Walter Howard of Athens, Cliff Barnett of San Antonio, Rick Howard of Fort Worth, Jeannie Gillispie of Benson, Ariz. and Betty Ann Woodard of Athens and six great-grandchildren.
