Services for Estel Lee Barton, 71, Grand Prairie, formerly of Athens, were held Monday morning at Foster & Brown Chapel with the Rev. Bob Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Leagueville Cemetery near Brownsboro.
Mrs. Barton died unexpectedly Friday in a Dallas hospital.
She was born March 15, 1918 in Henderson County. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church of Dallas. She lived in Dallas most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Barton, in October 1988.
Survivors include two sons, William Mack Barton, Irving and Waymond Edward Barton, Grand Prairie; two daughters, Estel Juanita Greer, Grand Prairie and Shirlene Newman, Red Oak; two brothers, West Adair and Wiley Adair, both of Henderson County; two sisters, Vera Gideon, Palmer and Alley Howard, Malakoff; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
