Leagueville, February 26---Our community was shocked last Tuesday evening when we heard the news of the death of one of our best loved citizens, Mr. William Price Adair, affectionately called "Grandpa." He was a friend to all, jolly and cheerful all the time. He died at his home Tuesday evening at 10 o'clock of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, ten children, forty-nine grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Price were held at the church Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Tunnell, pastor of the Methodist Church of Brownsboro, assisted by Bro. Joe B. Stuart, of Brownsboro. Weep not dear ones, he is at rest.
