Funeral services for Ebb Thomas Adair,70, of Athens, were held at 3 p.m.
Thursday in the Leagueville Baptist church with Rev. S.G. Hancock officiating. Burial followed in the Leagueville cemetery under the direction of Foster and Brown Funeral Home of Athens.

Mr. Adair died Tuesday in Henderson County Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

He was born December 7, 1911,in Navarro County, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Price Adair. He was a retired employee of the city of Waxahachie and has resided in Athens for the past two years. He was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include hi wife, Julia Adair of Athens; three sons, Wayne Adair of Brownsboro, Jimmy Adair of Athens and Edwin Adair of Palmer; three daughters, Geneva Jennings and Joyce Price, both o Palmer and Myrna Adair of Athens; three brothers, Wes Adair of Leagueville, Lonzo Adair of Brownsboro and Wiley Adair of Chandler; four sisters, Mrs. Allie Howard of Malakoff, Vera Gideon of Palmer, Estell Barton of Dallas and Ethel Brown of Brownsboro; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
