Mr. Auffie O. Burch, 41, husband of Mrs. Martha Fennell Burch, of 1819 Watkins Street, Augusta, Georgia, entered into rest at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 1957, at a local infirmary. Funeral services will be conducted at the Crawford Avenue Baptist Church Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The Reverend Robert C. Daniel officiating. Interment will be in West View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be H.B. Warren, J.H. Cliett, W.W. Holley, Hubert Bentley, Louie Burch and Harold Von Kamp. Mrs. Burch was born in Richmond County and lived here all his life. He was the son of the late Malvin Brady and Lena Belle Reid Burch. He was a member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, his is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Connie Coogler of Waynesboro, Ga., Miss Irene Burch, Miss Patricia Burch and Miss Elizabeth Burch, all of Augusta; two grandsons; one brother, Earl A. Burch of Augusta; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel Lord of North Augusta; Mrs. Ivey Cheeks and Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, both of Augusta, and Mrs. Irma Ballentine of Blythewood, S.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
