Mrs. Lena Belle Reid Burch of 1819 Watkins St., wife of the late Malvin B. Burch, entered into rest yesterday, December 25, 1956 in a local infirmary after an extended illness. Funeral services will be announced later by Platt's funeral Home. Mrs. Burch was, a native, of Richmond County. She was a member of Crawford Ave. Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Ethel Lord, Mrs. Ivey Cheeks, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson, all of Augusta, and Mrs. Irma Ballentine of Blythewood, S.C.; two sons, Odelle Burch of Cocoa, Fla. and Earl Burch of Augusta; three sisters, Mrs. Dolley Loner of Blythewood, S.C., Mrs. Nellie Spivey, of Augusta and Mrs. Mamie Murphey, of North Augusta; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
