Nilsen, Nils Andersen and Anton B. Johnsen. She was confirmed at Laketown Lutheran Church in Polk Co., WI. At age 19, Nelsine legally changed her first name to Sena.
Sena was an expert seamstress. Her cause of death was listed as aplastic anemia which she had for 3 ½ months and for which she had been hospitalized the last two months. At the time of her death, she had lived in Minneapolis, MN for about 46 years and had been a housewife all her life. She was buried May 9, 1946 in Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Sena's husband, John Martin Ramstad, was a grocer at a grocery store. His name is listed as John Martin Ramsted on his death certificate, but everywhere else his last name is spelled Ramstad. He died of coronary thrombosis due to arteriosclerosis. His death certificate also lists the following: scoliosis; old polio with marked deformity of chest wall. He was buried Monday, January 8, 1945 at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., MN. At the time of his death, he lived at 4308 Chicago Ave. in Minneapolis.
