KENNETH E. DISLER

KENNETH E. DISLER, 86, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked as an Internal Auditor with the City of Fort Wayne for 20 years, retiring in 1985. He graduated from South Side High School and I.U. He was a Past Master for the Three Rivers Masonic Lodge, 733, F&AM; member of the Fort Wayne Valley Scottish Rite, Mizpah Shrine and Fort Wayne Track Club.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Dr. Marjorie Person; parents, Barney and Myrtle; his wife of 26 years, Zella; sisters, Mabel Zuber, Dolly Arnold, Mildred Schoenherr, Grace Franks, Roselma Dale, and Edna Augenstein; and brothers, Delbert, Willis, Barney, Arthur, and Ray.

Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospitals For Children or Turnstone Center. www.mccombandsons.com
