Ray Edward Disler, 79, Cassville, Mo., died Thursday in Cox Medical Center, Springfield, Mo.

The Fort Wayne native retired as purchasing agent for Fort Wayne Dairy Equipment Co. after 13 years. He was the widower of Mary, who died in 1971.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; daughters Bonnie Shrock and Mary Lou Schoeph, both of Fort Wayne, and Marcia Schwalm of Germany; sons Jack of South Bend and Harold of Orlando, Fla.; step-daughter, Peggy Queen of Huntsville; stepson, Ben Hutton of Canton, Ohio; sisters Grace Franks of Sturgis, Mich., Edna Augenstine of New Haven and Rosealma Dale of Fort Wayne; brothers Delbert of Oakland City, and Kenneth and Willis, both of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Trier Ridge Community Church of God or the American Heart Association of Northeast Indiana.
